“What happens during the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period if I do nothing?”

If you do nothing with the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period, you will simply be renewed on the current plan that you have and you have to take the new changes that are coming next year. You will not be dropped for not doing anything, you'll simply continue on the new version of your current plan.

If  you're okay with the changes, you can just do nothing. If you’re not okay with the changes,  and  you're on a Medicare Advantage or Part D prescription plan and want to find a plan that better fits your needs, October 15th to December 7th is that window where you can switch.
